We are in line for storms here through Wednesday. The power was off sometime during the night as everything is flashing here this morning. It is 66 degrees this morning and to reach the upper 80s today.
I have quite a few errands to run this morning so I will be out and about for awhile. Then I will settle in to watch the final phase of the Arias trial.
I hope you all have a lovely peaceful week. Stay safe and be happy!!
Beth
enjoy your day, we have been getting a lot of rain as well!!
ReplyDeleteMorning, cupcake. Glad you are feeling better !
ReplyDelete64 here this morning and rain. Good excuse to have a "me" day...after I run a few errands ! lol My cousin in Witchita ws telling of bad tornadoes yesterdays over there. We can skip that part, but the rain is nice (so far)...only a little thunder and not really storming (yet).
Have a great day!
Good Monday morning, Beth. We have some sunshine trying to break through the clouds this morning, but that is after a rainy week-end resulting in over two inches in the rain gauge!
ReplyDeleteSending wishes to you for a good day!
xo Nellie

ReplyDeleteHi Beth, I hope the weather clears up. Its been pretty gloomy here too. I hope the sun shows up soon for you. I really hope this is not an indication of what the summer will be like! Have a great Monday!
ReplyDeleteBlessings, Joanne

ReplyDeleteIt is rainy here too in Montreal. I made a lovely pot of soup last night and am finishing up my spring cleaning. Stay safe and enjoy your day.
ReplyDeleteFunny story about the power going off. My mom called me and told me she couldn't fix her clock. She had set it, but it was still flashing. A couple of days later when we went to mow, she asked me if I could look at her clock...it was still blinking off and on....I looked and the time was fifteen minutes ahead of time, so I set it and it quit blinking....she had never set it after it went off and had been blinking for days...thinking there was something wrong with her clock. She laughed when all I did was set it. Me too.
ReplyDeleteA little rain sounds nice. We are hot and dry here in the desert but just a little cooler this week. Have a very nice week.
ReplyDeleteWe have been getting a lot of power outages the last year. Such stronger winds knocking trees down. Last winter one near our gate broke off and we watched it spark and flame till finally it burned right through the power line. Lucky we'd had rain so it didn't start a forest fire. Power company had it fixed by next day. Just last week I could tell another tree much have been on the line as there was a big pop on my stereo then everything dimmed all though a small amount of power was still coming. That meant another tree on the line again. Was fixed in a couple hours. Loss of power doesn't effect me much as we have some solar lights, gravity fed water and gas stove and water heater. Just wish I had a backup for the computer. Fridge and freezers can easily go a couple day if I don't open too much.
ReplyDeleteYou are still watching those trials. LOL Have a wonderful week and may the power stay with you.. Hugs Carrie
Looked like rain but never did. It's a warm humid day.
ReplyDeleteHello Beth I do hope your day went well. Hug B
ReplyDeleteWe made a hurried trip to Atlanta and back - 4 hours = so we could watch the Arias trial. Did not happen - maybe tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteI am hoping for a little rain here.
ReplyDeleteThe final step is Arias to speak...again.
I hope you escaped the storms my friend.
ReplyDeleteHope you're feeling better and escaped any really bad weather.
