Sunday morning…

and things are looking better for me.  I am still eating soft food but I am going to try eating something a little more substantial today.

It has been very warm the last few days.  To reach upper 80s to 90 degrees today.  Storms are to roll in tonight.  Right now the sun is shining at 65 degrees.

I have been reading a book called Maine Brides written by Susan Page Davis.  It is a book I got at a garage sale some time ago.  There were many books by this author, all named after a state and then ‘Brides.’  I am aggravated at myself now because I didn’t buy the one named ‘Illinois Brides.’   The book I am reading is excellent.

It is boring finding something to fill the time when you are feeling tough.I looked through all of my old pictures and videos.  I haven’t fixed a video for several years.  I did find one I think you will be interested in.  The theater in my little town (3 blocks from where I lived)burned to the ground and I was busy taking pictures along with half the town.  Pay no attention to the music.  It is some free music I got from the internet.

Paxton  Theater Fire

Have a peaceful day.  Stay safe and be happy!!

  1. Happy to hear your feeling better. Tv isn't the fun entertainment it used to be. That was quite the fire. Good video.

  4. What a shame that wonderful old theatre burned. Hate to see such magnificent places disappear, especially that way. Glad you were able to film it and preserve its demise, though. Good job!

You did a good job with the video. It is a shame that a nice theater was destroyed like that.

  9. blessings Beth: glad to read you feeling better, reading is good. am at 41% (49 books)of my goal to read 120 books this year, a bit ambitious of course. I aim to challenge myself, I have to or else i'll literally go months without reading anything so its my push to keep reading.

    Stay blessed & speedy recovery.
    peace.

  11. Isn't that the way it always goes? If you don't buy it, you'll wish you did...if you buy it, sometimes, you wish you hadn't. Maybe you can find it on Amazon.com?
