I received a call a few minutes ago from my niece in West Virginia. She is asking for prayers on behalf of her friend Tiffany’s new baby, tiny Gabriel. He is 3 weeks old and is not doing well. Our blogging family knows that prayer can move mountains. It would be appreciated so much if you all would take a minute to share a kind thought or a prayer for Gabriel. Thank you!
Gabriel, the pride and joy of Tiffany and Brian

I am up early this morning, before 6 AM. I have no idea why as it is pouring down rain for the second day in a row. I have exercised and had my bowl of cheerios with a banana and a glass of cranberry juice so I am good to go. Not much incentive to clean when it is pouring down rain. Maintenance is to be here today or tomorrow to change my furnace filter and the battery in the smoke alarm/carbon monoxide detector. I will have to watch them like a hawk to make sure they wipe their feet when they come in. LOL
I saw my cardiologist (aka Dr. God) yesterday morning. He was actually pretty nice and spoke to me as if I were an adult and not a child. One thing that really irritates me about him is that he always asks me if I realize that I will end up with a pacemaker and then he follows up by saying ‘not now though.’ I just wish he would wait until it actually is necessary to remind me.
I hope we all have a good day. Stay safe and be happy!!
Beth
Prayers for him!!
ReplyDeleteLook at you working out and eating before the day gets going! Hope the handy men come in quickly and clean :).
Take Care
Hi Beth, Don't you wonder what planet some doctors live on!! At least that appointment is over - until next time. Hope it's not raining by you like it is here.
ReplyDeletei hope the little one will be alright...
ReplyDeleteBeth, Who would not pray for a baby, of course I"ll send up prayers for Gabriel. I am also keeping you in my prayers.Glad you are taking care of yourself. I think the dr. is just trying to prepare you....hope he doesn't think you can't remember from one visit to the next:):) It's all rainy and windy here today. I know what's behind this weather front and oh I am not looking forward to it. Make those men wipe their feet .LOL xoxo,Susie
ReplyDeleteM says she has added her adorable little baby to her prayers.
ReplyDeleteBeth your on my side bar so just seen your request appear . Prayed right away.
ReplyDeleteFor baby and for the parents and all that is close to them as family and yourself.
Yes Specialists are either like that or like my husbands brother who had three Specialists looking after him for now two years. Now . tell him after about 8 operations for an infection. Tell him they can not do anymore for him in one hospital where they tried to treat him. Then now he must go to Toronto General. So please keep my brother in-law in prayer. His name is Jerry.
He has had no end to Specialists probing him. Plus he had a triple by pass. He is not even a heavy guy to start with.
We have rain also they say till Sat. You have to get a good book Beth or a hobby when days are like this.
Hugs
Carol Ann
Prayers on their way for that sweet little baby. I don't blame you for getting irritated by the doctor constantly reminding you about the pace maker....i mean does he really think you have forgotten since the last time he spoke to you? GEEZE!
ReplyDeleteNext time you should say "Pace maker? what pacemaker? you never mentioned a pacemaker before!"
Have a beautiful day!
Blessings, Joanne
Prayers begun, God bless his sweet heart. It's oddly warm and humid here today. I wonder if we'll get a storm.
ReplyDeleteLove,
Janie

ReplyDeleteYou're right prayers do move mountains and I have certainly seen that over and over again. Rain can dampen ones enthusiasm (pun intended) but I have no doubt you'll overcome. I hate being talked down to especially in matters pertaining to health...you certainly deserve respect. Grace to you today Beth.
ReplyDeletePrayers for little Gabriel from here.
ReplyDeleteSending wishes for a good day to you, Beth.

ReplyDeleteYour breakfast sounds just like mine,
ReplyDeleteI will say a prayer for little Gabriel.
Prayer sent! So tiny to struggle.
ReplyDeleteI suppose Dr God thinks you are getting older and must remind you about the pacemaker so it won't be such a shock! :)
I will pray for Gabriel. Most of us know the joy of your own little one, and we want only the best for them. I will pray for his loving parents too. I hope you won't need that pacemaker for a long time, Beth. I am praying for you too. Enjoy the season as it changes and unfolds. Enjoy your day and week. Bertie.
ReplyDeleteGod can do wonders if we pray from our heart. SO i am praying for the little one to get well soon.
ReplyDeleteAdding my prayers.
ReplyDeleteThe Dr. doesn't want you to forget that you may need a pacemaker in the future - putting the idea into your head :) and reminding you..

I'm still trying to train our three pups to wipe their paws before re-entering the house. LOL
Gabriel and your family are all in my thoughts and prayers. Hugs.
ReplyDeleteHi Beth, I'm keeping Gabriel and your family in my prayers also. Prayer is power.
ReplyDeleteSounds like you got your day off to a good start, despite the rain!
Hi Beth. I will definitely say prayers for them. How heartbreaking to have such worry about a tiny baby. On your other subject, we had beautiful sunny weather today, even though it was fairly cold, I love that kind of weather. And about your doctor....some of them just shouldn't be allowed to talk to patients! :)
ReplyDeleteOh I love the interaction you have with "Dr. God" :) Take care my friend. My prayers to Gabriel. Hug B
ReplyDeleteJoining all of you in prayer. May the little one be healed. ♡
