and we did get snow and it is still snowing. I hate to be a killjoy and keep mentioning it but I do not like snow. The main reason is you have to clean it off your car and then to get anywhere you have to drive through it. I didn’t mind it when Jim was alive and I had help plus the car was always in a big garage. After he was gone and until I moved my neighbors plowed my driveway behind the garage for me. Here in my new home maintenance will come by after while and will blow the snow off the sidewalk right up on my car so that I will have even more to clean off. And the beautiful white stuff has this nasty habit of changing to ice.
My car and Deb and Joe’s look very Christmasy this morning.
Next door Deb and Joes decorations and picnic table have a nice Christmasy look too.
Oh well, there is always the thought that a good fairy will come along and give me a helping hand. LOL And speaking of good fairies, I had 2 tickets for the lotto last night. I had 1 number on each ticket and it was not the mega ball number. So much for that. I think it has rolled over $500 million now. So I probably will buy another ticket if I can get my car cleaned off and over to the store.
One nice thing about a snow storm is that it wasn’t an ice storm. Enjoy today as if it were your last one. I will be busy cleaning off my car. Stay safe and be happy!!
Beth
Plenty of that white stuff here too today..stay warm and safe today.. Prayers always.. XOXO
ReplyDeleteWell I love snow and just can't imagine having to clean off a vehicle to go somewhere! So sorry you have to do this. Not easy! Just started to snow here 9:30 AM Saturday,
ReplyDeleteat least it was fluffy and not icy, like you said.
ReplyDeleteBlessings Beth:
ReplyDeletePlease stop sending your cold wind, snow storm our way. Take it back, take it back, I don't want to share your cold. Its maddenily cold here, my windows and screen door are frozen. Just take a look here https://plus.google.com/101099217204323189067?prsrc=5 on my google+ I posted some photos.
Beth, I see you got your snow...so did we. I have shoveled the driveway once..it's still snowing the reason I went ahead and shoveled is then it's not as much or heavy. I like the exercise of it, the fresh air too. But our power cliched once... think someone hit a power pole....saw the sherrif drive by and heard sirens when it happened. I do not want to lose power. Stay warm girlfriend.xoxo,Susie
ReplyDeleteSnow is so pretty but it does make for a lot of work. I hope you get your car cleaned off.
ReplyDeleteWow! You certainly do have a LOT of snow! We haven't had that amount here in years and years! Stay warm and safe! xo Nellie
ReplyDeleteNo snow here in the Emerald City area. Got up to 50 yesterday and we've had several days of constant rain. But our outdoor birds keep coming and we enjoy watching them. Sorry about your car. I had to scrape ice off the inside of my front car window a couple of weeks ago. Weather these days is amazing. Keep on, Beth and enjoy! Bertie
ReplyDeleteThe snow is beautiful to me, but I dont have to get out in it, maybe thats why. I can sit inside warm, and enjoy looking at it.
ReplyDeleteLovely snow always makes a pretty capture, but as you say Beth...can't get moving . Stay warm as that sure does look deep.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your Weekend.
Hugs Sheila x
I love snow, Beth...this snow is supposedly on its way to Montreal. Wow, you got lots indeed!
ReplyDeletei'm not going to say how much i love the snow, nope, not going to say it!! we had a few flakes but mostly rain. in fact it's still raining. that's 3 non-snow events for us!!
ReplyDeleteIt erks me they blow the snow ON your vehicles. I would complain, seriously. Sorry you have to scrape your car off. I do too and it makes me warm the vehicle up and defrost everything on it's own. But that costs gas money. We have a dusting of snow here. Keep warm and enjoy the pretty white.
ReplyDeleteAlthough I complain about the heat during the summer, I love not having snow.
ReplyDeleteLove,
Janie
I hear you. If I had to do it alone (and I did for 16 years), I would be overwhelmed. Any nice teenage boys around?
ReplyDeleteIf I lived by you, I'd clean your car off for you. : )
ReplyDeleteAt least you know warm weather will return once again.
I am so happy NOT to have that stuff now what with all th trips I have to make to KTown with E. I would help clean it off though if I wee there. Xxoo
ReplyDeleteOh, Beth- I wish I could go POOF and magically a garage would appear for you. I do not like the cold and snow either. UGH. We got about 6" more today, too. I am praying for your dr visit next week. Thinking positive and praying for good news again- xo Diana
ReplyDeleteI wondered how much snow you got down there? We got a few inches around us. Well I didn't check my numbers yet, but I know I didn't win. lol..always next week!
ReplyDeleteCan't comprehend all that snow...I'm pleased you have a warm summer.
ReplyDeleteI am with you about the snow. It is coming every few days. I could use a break.
ReplyDeleteThat is really some snow storm. we are shoveling sunshine out here, but it was chilly enough for jackets last night. Snow is lovely to look at but certainly no fun to clean up and drive in. Hope things warm up just a bit for you. Have a good weekend.
ReplyDeleteOh dear Beth, no wonder you don't like snow, you can get too much of a good thing, and you're on overkill there, I don't like it much either, but it's a bit early for us yet, I hope we don't get any this winter. Beth I don't know if the address for you that I have is an up to date one, can you let me know email if necessary. please.
ReplyDeleteI know it's always been crummy having to clean cars off and to drive when it's slippery, but I have always loved the snow! Looks just wonderful to me. But I have to confess that it is even better when I don't have to clean off the car and drive in it. ;)
ReplyDeleteI don't think I would like to live in an area with that much snow either.
ReplyDeleteOh goodness my friend! Yeah my 1 inch was nothing.
ReplyDeleteStay warm my friend.
Gosh these pictures make me feel like a ten-year-old kid! I love snow! I will trade you in a heartbeat :)
