on this Tuesday morning on 10 December 2013. There is snow on the ground, the wind is gusting at 25 miles an hour. It is 10 degrees and the wind chill is well below zero. I am not going out today. I called my daughter and asked if she would bring my short handled snow shovel over sometime today and a couple of things from the store. I have a dental appointment on Thursday and I am thinking about calling and changing that appointment. The weather forecast is for more snow tomorrow with the bitter cold temps remaining.
Another Christmas item. I purchased this at the Hospital Christmas Bazaar last year.
My new tin sign I purchased at Gordmans this year. The picture is a bit blurry but you get the general idea.
I am almost to my 1000th post on this blog. If you were to add all of the posts from my various blogs here and on wordpress the total would be in the several thousands!
I hope the weather is nice wherever you are and the sun is shining. Stay safe and be happy!!
Beth
You are a prolific writer! Very good idea to switch your dental appointment with those kinds of temps. Brrrrrrrr...
ReplyDeleteHi Beth, Hope you manage to stay warm and safe. Hugs Nita
ReplyDeleteI do hope you warm up real soon!
ReplyDeletei do hope you can stay inside as much as possible! that is very cold...
ReplyDeleteLove your new sign Beth, that's a cute colorful one!! I think I just passed 1000 but I would have to check, this has been my only blog though!!
ReplyDeleteStay warm Beth and enjoy your day!!
Best Blogger Beth! Bunches of blogs! Bouquets and Bows to you!
ReplyDeleteWe are having snow flurries and it is 24° and not too bad. We went to the grocery store this AM. Stay well and be safe!
Stay warm Beth! It's cold here today too, but I think we are going above freezing this afternoon :)
ReplyDeleteblessings and good morning beth.
ReplyDeleteIts freezing here too, i haven't done on lick of christmas shopping and apart from groceries and a few items to make some earrings and necklaces (if i feel like it) i don't intend to.
Have a toasty warm day.
Boy, I have yet to get anything Christmasy up. Not even a tree..nothing. Still have presents to buy and ALL of them to wrap.
ReplyDeleteStay inside, stay warm, and change that appointment...it is getting very Christmasy around your house. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteIt got kind of warm and humid here, and now it's raining. I hope it will be cooler tomorrow. You are wise to stay in.
ReplyDeleteLove,
Janie
No sun here today - more snow.
ReplyDeleteI am glad that you are not going out today. It is cold here as well and the snow is suppose to stop before the evening commute.
ReplyDeleteWow that many blog posts and that many words. Congrats!
It seems like staying in is a very good decision, Beth! You have been a very busy blogger! xo Nellie
ReplyDeleteIt was sunny here today; cold and windy, too. I love your new sign!
ReplyDeleteI'm with you on the cold. If I could I think I'd stay inside until March. You take care and keep warm and toasty.
ReplyDeleteNo it is not warm and sunny here. The weather you are experiencing is coming our way. When I arrived home from work at about 6, the driveway was a skating rink. I wish I didn't have to go anywhere the next few days.
ReplyDeleteWow that's a lot of posts!
Goodness, snow :) Actually traveling to my father's today by the sea, in the distance I saw a little snow on the mountains called the Western Tiers in places...now that is amazing as it's summer time - we are having a cold snap....will be warmer again in a few days I expect. Today only got to 20degC/68F, so that's cool for summer.
ReplyDeleteWe are enjoying similar temperatures these days. It will hit a low of close to your 0 tonight. Thanks for the visit. I think an iPad would be very cumbersome for a selfie.
ReplyDeleteI wish we would get a break here. We are getting January early! Stay safe!
ReplyDeleteHi Beth, I am enjoying your recipes and decorations. Congratulations on your 1000th post!
ReplyDeleteLove your Christmas finds!!!
ReplyDeleteway to go on 100 here :)
Yes, stay inside when you can if it is really cold out there. Cute Christmas cup and sign. :)
