today as I have been out since early this morning and finally getting my hair cut. I have been to drop off my papers at the tax accountant, to Staples to buy a new telephone and then to Wal*mart for a few things. When I left home this morning it was 10 below zero. It has now warmed up to 8 degrees. My beautician that lives in the country said that her temp this morning was 15 below. The countdown to Spring stands at 37 days!!!
My niece is home from the hospital. She asked me to thank all of you who remembered her with thoughts and prayers. Please continue to remember her as she is dealing with multiple health problems.
I have to stop and take a minute to get my new telephone and the extra handsets charging. That will take a little while as each new phone is different.
Have a good day. Stay safe and be happy!!
Beth
Hi Beth,
ReplyDeleteSounds like you had a busy, but fruitful day - Hugs Nita
glad to hear your niece was released from the hospital!
ReplyDeleteIt always makes me feel better to get my hair cut. Glad you got your errands completed and are safely back home. Continued prayers for your niece. Best wishes with setting up the new phones.
ReplyDeleteSO glad that your niece is home form the hospital. I wish here well on her recovery and I send thoughts, prayers, and well-wishes her way.
ReplyDeletegood news beth....all the way around. i do not like getting new phones, learning the ins and outs of the system!!
ReplyDeletePrayers for your niece.
ReplyDeleteYou are so brave to go out in the deep freeze.
Don't you hate reading instructions?
Take care.
I can't wait for Spring either. I'm now stuck in Las Vegas because of bad weather in the Atlanta area and I can't reach the airline to reschedule the second leg of my flight.
ReplyDeleteWow! Eight degrees. It's a heat wave.
ReplyDeleteLove,
Janie
37 days doesn't seem to be too long to wait for spring Beth, and what a transformation that will be, in your previous post you said that snow is pretty, I hate to disagree, though I think individual snowflakes are, the snow is just too cold for me to appreciate it' A new haircut AND a telephone, ! my we are splashing out, :-) and why not. take care and wrap up warm. XX
ReplyDelete37 days doesn't seem so bad Beth, especially with the change it will bring in the weather.
ReplyDeleteI think individual snowflakes are pretty, though not when they mass together as SNOW, too cold. wrap up warm XX
Beth, I said an extra prayer for your niece last night. It was a cold morning..brrr. It's going to warm up and I hope it doesn't make flooding. But I am ready for the 30's. :):) Take care , be careful when it does melt..things get slick then. xoxo,Susie
ReplyDeleteBrrr! I believe I'd need a better winter coat than the one I have! That is really cold, Beth. So good to hear that your niece is improving. Prayers still being offered here. xo Nellie
ReplyDeleteVery glad that your niece is home and I am praying that she feels better and moves forward into much better health. Brrr...it is cold there. So glad that you are now feeling like a new woman. =D
ReplyDeleteThat's good your niece is out of hospital.
ReplyDeleteHave fun with your phone, it's an exciting time working a new one out.
The days to your spring are coming down, won't be long now.
We got to Autumn on 1st March, and I am not going to like that..thought Autumn is often lovely weather.
I am glad you did get out a bit this morning. I am also glad that Dee is home. I'll continue to pray for her.
ReplyDeleteNice to hear that your niece is back home from hospital. Let the prayers continue to keep her more fit.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your day buying new phone and doing shopping in walmat.
I hope you had a really good day, Beth. I will continue to pray for your niece. xo Diana
ReplyDeleteHappy to hear your niece is doing better and will continue with the prayers. Hate going out for anything in this cold but we deal with it the best we can. The countdown gives me hope.
ReplyDeleteA busy day for you to be sure. Hope your niece's health improves. Wow you are sure getting some cold weather. It was almost 80 here yesterday but while you are enjoying a beautiful spring we will be sweltering in the desert heat. Have a good day.
ReplyDeleteGood Morning, Beth! Sounds like you had a productive day, out and about. Those days are good for me because they remind me how much I love to be home! We need variety in our lives though, don't we? Good luck with that new phone. 37 days to spring-Woohoo!
ReplyDeleteI had my haircut the other day well the other night in the bathroom by Tim as it was way to long for me, I don't like long hair.
ReplyDeleteYikes! 10 below! I've been out of the loop but I'm glad your niece is home. She will be in my thoughts.
