Continuing the countdown….

Only 14 days to go on the countdown till Spring.  It is 23 degrees right now with snow showers.  My daughter came over yesterday and finished shoveling my car out.  THANKS!!

I did run some errands yesterday morning and got started on the spring cleaning.  Nothing drastic but it is a start.  Today I am cleaning out the drawers in the kitchen and putting in new lining.  Not a favorite thing to do but needs to be done.

Sharing some photos from my flowers at my old home.

The hens and chickens were started from some we brought from Jim’s mom’s house many years ago.  I brought two containers of them when I moved here and they are flourishing.

Have a lovely peaceful day.  Stay safe and be happy!!

  1. Your flowers were beautiful! Aren't we lucky to live in a time when we can get out old photos and relive old times? We don't have to rely on our memory alone.....really a blessing when you have a bad memory like me!!! lol Hope that snow blows away to another continent soon!!!

  24. Here I am playing catch up again. Thank you for the new people on my blog. You are the best Beth! It's a sunny but fairly cold day here.
I didn't know you could grow hens and chickens in pots! I suppose they can provide their own fertilizer.

What a nice back yard you had. Say hi to the chickens for me. Cluck cluckity cluck. You didn't know I spoke fluent chicken.
