Oh what a morning…

It is cold here this morning.  It was about 15 when I got up but  It has warmed up some now.  I still  have snow on my car from yesterday.  The snow didn’t amount to much, about 1 and 1/2 inches.  More snow up north of here.  It is only 6 more days till the first day of Spring.

My telephone service is out  this morning.  Thank heaven for a cell phone.  I have to keep in touch with my family as several family members are going through health issues right now.  I switched from Comcast to iTV-3 about a year ago.  The customer service from Comcast was very poor.  I like iTV-3 for their customer service.  The worst thing about them is that the telephone service is sometimes sporadic.  That is irritating!  Would I go back to Comcast?  NO!!  Not even for those promised $200 visa cards I keep getting in the mail from them.  To me the most important thing about a cable company is customer service and reliability.

  4. We had cable and Internet thru Comcast....and I totally agree with you....VERY POOR customer service. We had our cable disconnected and would love to the Internet, if we can find another option in this area. We had a "light dusting" of snow there this morning, too. It looked kinda like powdered sugar had been sprinkled all over the rooftops and ground!!! HOPE you have a great day!!!

  5. Beth, I love my land line...I will never get rid of it. I hate poor service, of any kind. I pay my bills on time , so I expect good service always....not that I get it mind you. Too much flaky technology and not enough trained human service. :):) Hope you get a warm up, it's pretty here today but oh so cold. Blessings, xoxo,Susie

  11. Beth, it's amazing about all the snow you guys are getting! We gave up our phone line years ago. These companies charge WAY too much money for all of it. Stay warm.....maybe in 6 days, it will all miraculously disappear.....maybe:)

  13. I think good customer service will make or break a company. My phone could go out for days , I rarely call anyone, I hate the phone and you couldn't pay me to have a cell phone. My husband has one, he likes talking on the phone:)

Just hanging around today. Cold and snowy outside. I'm staying inside. I am very wary of the large corporations.

  17. Good customer service is everything to me. Comcast just merged with Time Warner Cable (our cable company). I think this might be spelling double trouble because Time Warner doesn't have very good customer either. ha ha - I think we're both in trouble! Oh, I have a new blog post.

  21. We had alot of rain and then snow and ice. Everything looked like when the freezer needs to be defrosted and it was sure hard to shovel and clean the cars off. It was nice to see the sun today and I was able to take the dog for a nice walk this evening after dinner.

  22. Oh dear, not good when the phone is dead. That happened to me today but all of a sudden it came right. We have to have a landline to connect to our computers, or we could go totally wireless.
    Not many days now.

  26. So interesting Beth....what would we do without cell phones to keep us all connected, especially during a difficult time! I was checking out at Target yesterday and the check out person said to me, "everyday is a beautiful gift from God." I thought that was such a beautiful thing for her to say....just randomly...I replied, "you could not have expressed this more beautifully." Isn't it funny, how someone you don't know, can make you happy by a casual comment.....I just loved that! Have a great weekend!!
