Another beautiful morning checking in at 38 degrees. It is to reach the upper 50s today. It is 8 more days till the first day of Spring, I know that spring is coming because I have seen numerous birds the last couple of days. No robins yet but I know they are on their way!
I got up early to do laundry this morning. It was still dark at 7 AM It is just now starting to get light. I am not a fan of DST. I am a fan of baseball though and I am getting ready to cheer my ST Louis Cardinals on to another winning season. Perhaps we will end up facing the Red Sox again and have another chance.

I too am a baseball fan and can't wait for the season to start---albeit a Detroit Tigers fan! Baseball is like comfort food---it evokes visions of summer days and fun! Would love to see the Tigers meet up with the Cards at the WS this year again!
ReplyDeleteYeah for warmer temps and baseball. I know you like to get your laundry done early. It is hard to get used to this time change.
ReplyDeleteHave a nice day.
The warmer temps are wonderful! I wonder if the weather people will be right or wrong this time. Our prediction is conflicting. One forecast is for 3-5 and another is 12-17 inches. I don't want either! Enjoy the day!
ReplyDeleteGood Morning Beth. I am not a baseball fan but I will take the Spring weather pass it over here. We are due for a real big snow fall again. Not over winter here.
ReplyDeleteMy daughters Mother in-law is an avid fan of baseball. So you guys the best whom you enjoy to win.
That is the best. Do laundry early. The early bird gets the worm they say.
You sound real chipper now you have Spring delights.
Have a relaxed time at hairdresser. Nice to have someone do your hair.
Have a great day Beth!
one more cool blast coming thru tomorrow and then fingers crossed...
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful day, I am so glad that spring is almost here for you. I hope it stays nice and warm today. ;)
ReplyDeleteI am not a fan of DST either.
You are finally perking up! Spring is my favorite time of year - Now the birds are really singing and the buds are popping! Yea! Happy for you.
ReplyDeleteHi Beth Nearly Spring, in some ways, your countdown seems to have gone quite quickly. Hugs Nita
ReplyDeleteThat's an impressive championship. I miss seeing little league ball. I love the sound of the bat as it hits the ball. Sweet !! Hope you are having a great day. xoxo,Susie
ReplyDeleteI cannot wait for spring, its been a lonnnnnnnng, winter!!!!
ReplyDeleteI know the Twins opener is soon. They were clearing the snow off the field yesterday. Don't remember how many inches there was. They hauled it out to the parking lot where a machine melted it. Hope it doesn't snow much more now.
ReplyDelete'Twas a sunny springlike day here too Beth, only hoping that no frosts are due, for so many plants are waking up early and flowering. Enjoy the hair pampering, my turn on Thursday, highlights in both sense of the word. Hugs to you. xPenx
ReplyDeleteHope you got a good haircut!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful day here too. I refuse to believe that more snow is coming tomorrow night!!!
ReplyDeleteI have quite a few robins hopping around my yard. Poor things! Another snow storm expected tonight. I am a Cubs fan. We always have high hopes of a World Series. But by September those hopes are usually gone! lol..
ReplyDeleteNot a baseball fan but I love to see your enthusiasm on it. xox
ReplyDeleteIt already feels like spring in Florida!
ReplyDeleteI don't mind DST...I just wish they wouldn't change the time at all....leave it one way or the other. My old body can't handle just the hour change!! :(
ReplyDeleteThe countdown continues! Not long now!
ReplyDeleteI think you already know that I join you in that dislike for DST. I also join you in supporting the Cardinals. Hoping for a good year for them!
xo Nellie
Love the photo, Beth! I met the real Ronald McDonald in the late 1970's here in Montreal when I was working for the Quebec Society for Disabled Children and he came by for a visit. Yes, he was dressed like in your photo. :)
ReplyDeleteHigh fifties? How can you bear the heat?
ReplyDeleteLove,
Janie
Today was a beautiful day here but tomorrow is suppose to be a bit cool again. Would be nice to have at least a week a warm temps without the cold interrupting it ! I am with you on the baseball, so glad to at least have preseason for now and the regular season in the near future .
ReplyDeleteYou sound happier!
ReplyDeleteDon't know a thing about baseball other than we used to play it on the beach and called it 'rounders' :) such is life in Australia!
Oh our taste of Spring came yesterday I did not need a coat or a toque today the snow will be coming back....it was nice while it lasted. Bet your hair looks nice Beth. Hug B
ReplyDeleteWhile traveling, I saw robins in Southern Illinois. I was thrilled! They are on their way!
ReplyDeleteI am a HUGE baseball fan! I am a Cincinnati Red's fan through and through so I am not sure we can be blogging friends again until after the season :) haha.
ReplyDeleteWhat a remarkable lady you are Beth..each day, you find something to love! How magnificent!!!
ReplyDeleteYeah DST really put a wrench in things for me too!
ReplyDeleteCome on spring :)
