A beautiful morning for garage sales after much rain since last Sunday.
Not a cloud in the sky! Awesome!! Temperature mid 70s.
I found several books and a few other things I thought I couldn’t live without. I don’t buy knickknacks anymore as I don’t have room for that kind of stuff. There were lots of things like that at the sales today. Still waiting for the Genealogical sale which should be soon. That is where there are so many books to choose from.
The rain has been good for my flowers that I planted around the lamp pole at the end of my driveway.
Have a lovely peaceful weekend! Stay safe and be happy!!
Beth
Awe, wish i could spend the day with you. Love garage sales and bask in the beautiful weather. The rain is on its way here but suppose to be pretty tomorrow. Hope you enjoy my dear friend. Hugs xo
ReplyDeleteYour flowers look healthy and beautiful...I like the patriotic theme.
ReplyDeleteWow the rain is sure bringing those flowers to life Beth. They're beautiful. We have had a lot of garage and yard sales in my subdivision the past couple of weekends. A sure sign of summer in suburbia :-)
ReplyDeleteIt is nice that there is sunshine by you. Hopefully we shall get Sun tomorrow after a week of rain.
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend.
the flowers look beautiful!
ReplyDeleteMid seventies sounds lovely. Our heat and humidity phase has begun.
ReplyDeleteLove,
Janie
beautiful flowers and I agree, no more knick knacks for me, now books are another story all together, always room for books!!!
ReplyDeleteAaaaah! Your geraniums are beautiful! It is very hot and humid down here in southwest Louisiana. And where I live, i rarely see or hear of a garage sale. I would have to drive to the city for that. ;) hugs, Linda@Wetcreek Blog
ReplyDeleteGlad you found some books. What a gloriously lovely day! Your flowers are so pretty.
ReplyDeleteThe flowers are beautiful! I don't buy knicknacks either. I think the term dust catchers is why. Have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteLovely flowers, Beth. That is a treat that you were able to find some things of interest while checking out garage sales. xo Nellie
ReplyDeleteBeth, That was a big sale. I love your red, white and blue, flowers. Some times the rain beats out flowers down. Hope you have a wonderful weekend, xoxo,Susie

ReplyDeleteThe flowers are beautiful. I'm glad you're getting a break from the rain. It's been raining on and off all day in Pennsylvania.
ReplyDeleteI got some things at the flea market today. No yard sales around here. Shucks. Hope you had fun! Have a great weekend.
ReplyDeleteSo nice to pop in and see that you are still garage sailing and reading your books and planting flowers....way to go! Hope all your friends did well in their surgeries and are all healed up and back at life!
ReplyDeleteBlessings Beth:
ReplyDeleteI came by to wish you a grand weekend.
I wasn't able to view the photos for some reason.
Beautiful flowers at your driveway. I never saw a deep blue of those. They all look so pretty together. Bertie
ReplyDeleteI quit going to garage sales because I have too much stuff as it is. I still hit a thrift shop or two every now and then but only buy things I REALLY want...like white ironstone pitchers...lol
ReplyDeleteSweet pretty flowers you have. Was very nice today. Have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteLooks like your lamp post flowers are ready for the Red, White and Blue celebration!
ReplyDeleteHi Beth, your flowers are pretty. Hope you have a blessed weekend. Hugs Nita

ReplyDeleteThe flowers look lovely, Beth. I hear mine are holding up in my absence. I hope so.

ReplyDeleteYou have a green thumb Beth. I think we just had your rain last night and this morning but then it cleared up and it was a nice afternoon and looks to be beautiful on Sunday.
ReplyDeleteI am a sucker for yard sales. Sometimes you end up buying someone else's junk and then sometimes it turns out to be a small treasure.
Beth would you like some of the photos I took recently. In fact I'm going to mail them to you, Nancy and Carole. I have known the three of you the longest and consider you to be more than just "internet friends". You ladies are my friends. I'll send them out in a day or two.
Paul, you are among my first blogging friends Thank you!
DeleteYour flowers are just gorgeous. I didn't get any planted this year. I wonder if it's too late now?
