Garage sale morning…

A beautiful morning for garage sales after much rain since last Sunday.

001

Not a cloud in the sky!  Awesome!!  Temperature mid 70s.

I found several books and a few other things I thought I couldn’t live without.  I don’t buy knickknacks anymore as I don’t have room for that kind of stuff.  There were lots of things like that at the sales today.  Still waiting for the Genealogical sale which should be soon.  That is where there are so many books to choose from.

The rain has been good for my flowers that I planted around the lamp pole at the end of my driveway.

Have a lovely peaceful weekend!  Stay safe and be happy!!

Beth

  3. Wow the rain is sure bringing those flowers to life Beth. They're beautiful. We have had a lot of garage and yard sales in my subdivision the past couple of weekends. A sure sign of summer in suburbia :-)

  7. Aaaaah! Your geraniums are beautiful! It is very hot and humid down here in southwest Louisiana. And where I live, i rarely see or hear of a garage sale. I would have to drive to the city for that. ;) hugs, Linda@Wetcreek Blog

  9. The flowers are beautiful! I don't buy knicknacks either. I think the term dust catchers is why. Have a great weekend!

  20. I quit going to garage sales because I have too much stuff as it is. I still hit a thrift shop or two every now and then but only buy things I REALLY want...like white ironstone pitchers...lol

  26. You have a green thumb Beth. I think we just had your rain last night and this morning but then it cleared up and it was a nice afternoon and looks to be beautiful on Sunday.
I am a sucker for yard sales. Sometimes you end up buying someone else's junk and then sometimes it turns out to be a small treasure.
Beth would you like some of the photos I took recently. In fact I'm going to mail them to you, Nancy and Carole. I have known the three of you the longest and consider you to be more than just "internet friends". You ladies are my friends. I'll send them out in a day or two.
