Flash flood warning around here as this has been a rainy spring and summer. We got another heavy rain again last night. I am not sure of the rain totals but they are above average. I hope this will not affect the farmers too much. I noticed on Friday that the corn is all tasseled out here.

ReplyDeleteI hope you will be okay in your flash flood and I like the inspiration!
ReplyDeleteWe had some rain, well it was more like a near hurricane for about 20 minutes. I took a video out my bedroom window and posted it last blog. Weather since has been lovely but that's going to change very shortly.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your Sunday Beth.
I would love some rain, too bad you can't send some. :)
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful day Beth.

Oh how we need the rain. So, need the rain. We've had a little hear and there, lots of thunder, but not a significant amount.
ReplyDeletehave a wonderful Sunday with no flooding!!
ReplyDeleteBeth I'm sorry to hear you were under the weather.
ReplyDeleteConcerning those silly songs, I did those alone. Who would help you with a thing like that?
As I said to Nancy, I thank you for all your support over the years we've known each other. I am proud to call you my friend.
Thanks Paul!! HUGS!!
DeleteHope your Sunday is good.
ReplyDeleteHi, Beth...I'll have to call my little brother in your area to see if he has lots of rain as well. He has lots of crops in the field. The picture is lovely.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the comment!
ReplyDeleteOh..this makes me think of corn detassling. Someone in my family used to be a corn detassler. Probably the hardest job he ever had. He would come home in the afternoons covered in mud and sweat...but he stuck through it for a couple of years as a summer job.
Flash flooding here too..from time to time.
so true about life. :) hope you have been doing well. :)
ReplyDeletehugs,
Marie
We just had a thunderstorm too Beth but, the sun is once again peeking through. No tassels on the corn here...yet...
ReplyDeleteHope you enjoyed your Sunday, Beth...
we get rain about every day BUT not all day thank goodness. We are all going to get a cool down the weatherman said. Do you know that July is almost over and August will be here..school will start and oh NO! Fall and Winter are staring us in the face!
ReplyDeleteOh my, Beth, take care of yourself and stay safe. And I love the quote you have posted!
ReplyDeleteWe have also had a lot of rain, we are getting a storm tonight I am listening to the thunder now, hope it doest get to bad!
ReplyDeleteHi Beth. Sorry I've been missing for so long, but once again "life" got in the way of some free time. Hopefully we're back to stay now. Ship some of that rain up to us - we could use it.
ReplyDeleteThe lakes and channels are very high out here, as well as the rivers. So much rain. Mowing and weeding is constant too. Hug.
ReplyDeleteWe haven't had much rain at all here this summer. It's been HOT but last night we got a few drops which helped to cool the air for a little while.
ReplyDeleteIt feels like rain here but as yet it hasn't happened
