Festival of Lights, East Peoria Illinois…

and what a sight it is to see.  My daughter and son-in-law took me last night to see it.  I can’t begin to describe how awesome it is.  This is the city where one of our fellow bloggers, Stephen, lives.

I am in the process of making Chex mix now.  I made some in the microwave and I have some in the oven now.  My kids love it, so do I but I eat just a bite of it as it is loaded with salt.  Yumm!!  Tomorrow I will finish grocery shopping and Saturday if our predicted snow storm holds off my son will be coming for an early Christmas.

Gotta go now and check the Chex mix.  Come on over.  I will give you a cup of tea and a homemade cookie and you can take a bag of Chex mix and a box of homemade fudge home with you.

Red heart  Beth

    Warmest wishes.

  5. We have this too in Australia. There are even special bus trips you can go on, which will take you around to all the homes for several hours. Such a pretty sight, but I'm glad I'm not paying the electricity account.

  6. My goodness this rivals what I've seen at Disneyland in Tokyo! Amazing what people can do. I figure I'd be a lot more motivated if I had palm trees to decorate and some wonderful weather LOL!
