Welcome…

to the wonderful world of blogging.  It was just like being back in spaces this morning where they made some kind of ridiculous change every other day.  This morning first thing it was impossible to leave a comment for anyone.

So, I hopped in my car as the second driver and headed for Food Depot to purchase lotto tickets for the mega millions which is over half a billion dollars today.  Yep, $540 million.  I didn’t have to wait in line, I just purchased my tickets and headed for the rest of the store where I purchased most of their specials.  This store really has bargains and I love a bargain.   Now I am home and  have everything  put away and I can dream about being struck by lightning or being mega rich.  Of course I have a much better chance of being struck by lightning.

It is lovely out this morning.  It is 58 degrees and the sun is shining brightly.  It is a truly great day to be alive and I thank God that I am.

I hope you all have a peaceful weekend.  Stay safe and be happy!!

Beth

  1. The lotto has everyone going crazy. What are our chances except next to nil! We went out for chinese the other day and my fortune cookie told me I would have an unexpected windfall. I think I play the numbers that were on my fortune. lol

  2. Raining and thundering here today..better than snow I say..Yeah I sure hate it when they change stuff it has to happen once a year I am thinking. I sure hope a ton of people win instead of just one. NO ONE PERSON needs all that money. I would settle for one tiny amount of it. Yes, Sis bought me a ticket too. Following others wanting a better life whatever that is. Take care XXOO

  3. I couldn't believe that the jackpot reached that much! I read a sobering article about past winners absolutely ruining their lives...even murder happened within their own families over it...yikes. I was just talking to someone about godliness with contentment being great game...I do my best to take that in and let things fall out where they may. We are a bit cooler than you here it sounds like but I'm going to do the best I can with it. Have a blessed Friday my friend.

  6. I hope the lotto numbers come up for you although I think like you, the lightening has a better chance of striking you - but you never know.

  7. I don't get excited about the lottery, probably because I never watch enough news to even know what's going on in the world. ROFL!

  8. Ahhhh yes, the "can't-post-a-comment" crap-o-la! I got caught in it too. Added this info, to my blog entry.

    Then I could comment again.

  11. Hopefully I missed the blogger issues! It's been raining cats and dogs around here! Bah! And with spring break beginning today!!

As for the lottery, I hope more than one person wins, that's too much for anyone! I never buy tickets, but my husband always does, so if he wins, I win!!

  14. Here in Texas our lotto has gone waaaaaay up, too. I don't know how much because I swore off that money eating machine years ago. I used to buy a lotto ticket every time I got gas. I never won a thing. I decided I should put that dollar in a bank instead and it would grow faster. No more stock markets, no more lotteries for me. I want a sure thing because I work tooooo hard for my money to just give it away for a chance at more money.

I had the weirdest thing happen to my blog....all my pictures that I posted the past week were half there, half not, some were distorted, some weren't. I went into the editing part of blogger and reduced the sizes of the pictures and now they are fine. I never had that happen before.

  15. I wonder when in April Blogger is forcing us all to switch over to the "new look". I tried it for a day and went back to the old format. Not sure if I want to deal with the change ahead of time. I think all the glitches are because of the switch. Arg!!

I'm too late to wish you good luck on the lottery, I think. ;)
