It is a miracle…

After sleeping with the thing for the past 13 nights I had such a surprise when I looked in the mirror this morning.  Instead of seeing my dear mother’s face I saw a beautiful princess.  She had lovely green eyes, dark brown hair and no bags under her eyes.  She was a sight to behold, and I thought hooray, Murphy has left me and I had a wonderful night’s sleep and I am finally used to the ‘thing.’

GOTCHA!!  And

The fact of the matter is, I saw my mom’s face in the mirror this morning.  My eyes are still green but puffy from restless sleep and I think my dark brown hair turned silver when I was in my 40s.  Ask my sister Rae as she remembers things better than I do.

I have so many things I want to accomplish today so I best get started.  I will visit with you all later.

  8. One good thing about our eyes getting worse as we age is that when we look in the mirror we can't see the wrinkles as well. : )
Hope you accomplished what you wanted to today.

  11. Oh, I was so excited to hear that the mask was working! (insert sad face here!) I'm supposed to make my sleep study appointment this week. I'm scared to find out that I will qualify, especially after hearing about your struggles. Oh dear. Please get used to that thing and get some sleep!

  13. We all have our dreams now...awake or sleeping right? I've slept better lately for some reason but I don't think any amount of sleep will make me look like when I was in my twenties at this point! Hang in there my friend!
