I found the pics of my kids taken in 1967 when they were playing with their hula hoops.
My son, notice 2 hoops at one time…
My daughter with 2 hoops also. I was even pretty good at it too. No picture, thank heaven.
Stay safe and be happy!1
They are so cute (and talented)!
How cute ☺
I thinks should re-start using these.Such a lovely exercise for the hips (and spine)
No one would ever want to take a picture of my efforts with the hula hoop!:) Cute pictures, Beth!I hope you have a good Thursday and are feeling better.xo Nellie
I remember those, and they still sell them in the stores. Maybe I should get one lol.
Too fun! I love to see pictures, black and whites are my fav. Looks like they had fun, I could never get a hoop to stay up .. lol
Love it. Some kids could make the go forever. Me, not so much, lol.
so cute! and talented, too. :)
What a blessing to have these photos Beth so much fun the hoola hoop was!! Have a great day HUGS!!!
Great photos! I loved playing with one when I was a kid, but I never did too well with it. And wow, Cindy Williams! Loved that show! Hope you're feeling good!
I don't recall my sons having a hoola hoop. I sure couldn't keep one on.
Hoola Hoops....oh my....I could never keep those things going...very frustrating to watch my siblings do it and I couldn't.
I loved seeing this. Brought back good memories. xoxox
What fun old photos- I used to hula hoop too! xo Diana
Great pictures, Beth. Looks like they are having fun.
Wonder if they can do it today?
These sweet photos bring back fond memories. I remember having a neon pink hula hoop! Hope you have a restful night, Beth.
Great old photos of your kids. I was never good at hula hoops.
I remember those hula hoops. There were only a couple in the neighborhood--well, maybe three--and we'd have to cooperate and share to try to do more than one at a time. Was kind of boring once you got the hang of it. Too much like exercise--ROFL!! ;)Have a super weekend. :)
pure fun! and just think of all those calories burned!!
We used to roll our down the street and see who could get further without it falling down. Loved those hula hoops! Love your old pics, too!
I never was much good at hula hoops, but my kids were pretty good.Have a great weekend!
I just love these olden photos...my kids and I had fun with the hoops, too. Then, a few yrs ago, I gave all 10 of my grands a hoop at Christmas and, boy, we had a great time. Even the moms and dads were "hooping it up." :))Let's see, in 1967, my boy would have been 3 and my daughter not born until '69. ....bwaaaaaaaI love and enjoy them now but I still miss them as "little" people. xo
Just loving your old photo's Beth , must admit never any good at hula hoops. Off on a short break to visit my sis , catch you later. Hugs Sheila xx
LOVE the photos Beth! What a great memory :) Sadly I've never been able to hula hoop myself.Happy Friday!Paulalifeasweknowitbypaula.blogspot.com
That was fun! I used to be able to Hula Hoop...many moons ago!Hope you are doing well. ~Hug~
Wow, those are such cool pictures! I can't help but think those were better days!
Love the photos, I've got a hula hoop, but haven't even tried for a loooooooooooooong time, I video'd my grandkids a few years ago, by the age of Sarah about 15 years, it's funny, Sarah was around 3 and she just put the hoop over her head let it drop, and stepped out of it. I must find it and show Ross, her boy friend. great fun
I remember my hula hoop. Maybe it was my sisters. This was a few years before 1967. They were fun and quite the fad in the early and mid 60's.
