More Hula Hoop Pics…

I found the pics of my kids taken in 1967 when they were playing with their hula hoops.

  15. I remember those hula hoops. There were only a couple in the neighborhood--well, maybe three--and we'd have to cooperate and share to try to do more than one at a time. Was kind of boring once you got the hang of it. Too much like exercise--ROFL!! ;)

    Have a super weekend. :)

  19. I just love these olden photos...my kids and I had fun with the hoops, too. Then, a few yrs ago, I gave all 10 of my grands a hoop at Christmas and, boy, we had a great time. Even the moms and dads were "hooping it up." :))

Let's see, in 1967, my boy would have been 3 and my daughter not born until '69. ....bwaaaaaaa
I love and enjoy them now but I still miss them as "little" people.

  24. Love the photos, I've got a hula hoop, but haven't even tried for a loooooooooooooong time, I video'd my grandkids a few years ago, by the age of Sarah about 15 years, it's funny, Sarah was around 3 and she just put the hoop over her head let it drop, and stepped out of it. I must find it and show Ross, her boy friend. great fun

  25. I remember my hula hoop. Maybe it was my sisters. This was a few years before 1967. They were fun and quite the fad in the early and mid 60's.
