Yesterday morning my neighbor Deb took me to Urgent Care at the hospital. I have started antibiotics and cough syrup and I am hoping to feel better by Thanksgiving. Still woke up coughing at 3:30 AM but I am improving.
It is another gray November day. It is chilly at 27 degrees and the wind is blowing nicely. I am not planning to go out today. Tomorrow I will bundle up and go to the grocery store.
I hope you all have a great week and nice Thanksgiving plans.
Beth
Hi Beth, Hope and pray you will feel much better very soon. Hugs Nita
ReplyDeleteFighting this the whole weekend SIS..I don't have the meds but I may get them soon if this doesn't break up quick..Cough is so bad it reminds me of bronchitis.Get better soon and take care of yourself...you have been through a trama and your body needs time to heal also. Love and prayers to you for always.
ReplyDeleteGet better soon! Are you planning on spending Thanksgiving with family? Hope you are going somewhere else and not having to prepare it all yourself. Enjoy the holiday the best way you can---sending good, healing vibes your way!
ReplyDeleteyou have been through so much Beth, maybe your immune system is down a bit, maybe you should up your vitamins, to regain some vigor for the flu season, take care, I will keep you in my prayers,
ReplyDeleteWith all the stress, I am guessing the same thing. The immune system can only take so much before the coughs start up. Hope you feel better soon.
DeleteOh Beth, I sure hope this is extremely short lived. You've had enough already. Prayers.
ReplyDeleteI really hope you feel better soon...it's been a long stint for you. Our weather is clear and cold. Blessings to you Beth.
ReplyDeleteTake care, Bet, and rest well. Praying for you to feel much better soon. Good thing that you did not delay with going to the doc's. The sooner you get those meds going, the less chance the bug has to make life miserable. Good thinking!
ReplyDeleteoh, sorry you are so sick! get some rest!
ReplyDeleteBeth, It's so good your neighbor could help you out in your time of need. Put her on your Christmas list.:):) I am praying for you Beth. Bundle up if you venture out this week. Blessings to you and your neighbor. xoxo,Susie
ReplyDeleteHope you feel better soon Beth. Get all the rest you can.
ReplyDeleteGet feeling better! I loved the tribute to your mom and dad in your last post. Have a good week!
ReplyDeleteWhat a blessing to have a neighbor who was able to help you when you needed her! One of our daughters had the same problem a few weeks ago, and it has taken awhile for the cough to be completely a thing of the past! xo Nellie
ReplyDeleteStay in, warm and safe! Feel better soon!
ReplyDeleteOh my, I am so sorry you are unwell. You should be on the mend soon with those antibiotics..sometimes those coughs seem to hand on though. Hopefully you will be back in full swing soon.
ReplyDeleteMuch love and hugs..xxoo
Oh Beth! I'll be praying for you for a speed recovery. I'm so sorry you got sick.
ReplyDeleteTake good care of yourself, please. I'm having Thanksgiving dinner with Willy Dunne Wooters.
ReplyDeleteLove,
Janie
I pray you are better by the holiday. Cold here as well. I'm being a total slob today after a grueling week. Being a slob for one day ain't bad.
