Rubbish Tuesday…
This is the rubbish that the houses catty corner across the street from me looked like on November 17, 2013, the day of the tornado. Sadly the house on the left has not had any repair work done yet.

Stay safe and be happy!!

oh my gosh, only by the grace of God you were spared, so close, that is very scary indeed,
ReplyDeletean absolute heartbreak!! how hard it must be to look at this each day and be reminded of that terrible event!!
ReplyDeleteSo sad. We had a lot of tornado damage in our area last night, with fatalities. More to come this evening.
ReplyDeleteTornadoes are at it again... I think of April as the 'iffy' month
ReplyDeleteWell, that is rubbish, now isn't it?
ReplyDeleteHow did you guys do last night with the storms?
ReplyDeleteBeth, It was a scary night for so many . I hate it that someone can't help get that house back into shape..maybe insurance? Kokomo started making people get busy on their properties this spring, since the storms hit in the fall. Be safe today , xoxo,Susie
ReplyDeleteSad, sorrowful views....hope no one was injured tho.
ReplyDeleteWhat a mess that happens so fast it seems. A real shame the other house isn't done - is it because they were not insured?
ReplyDeleteJust heartbreaking :(
ReplyDeleteHow awful.
ReplyDeleteoh, that is sad rubbish...
ReplyDeleteThe power of such storms never ceases to amaze me. We aren't often touched by tornadoes here but I've also seen them first hand. Storm season has mostly avoided us thus far but it's far from over yet.
ReplyDeleteWow, powerful photo and a grim reminder every day for you. I hope you aren't being affected by the tornadoes I'm currently hearing about.
ReplyDeleteHow sad! I cannot imagine losing your home and your belongings in a few minutes. How very traumatic for anyone experiencing such loss. Thank you for sharing Beth!
ReplyDeleteso scary...there have been so many the last few days
ReplyDeleteSo sad to see such damage caused by the storms.
ReplyDeleteWow- and how sad that nothing has been done to that house- xo Diana
ReplyDeletePrayers for those who have lost so much.
ReplyDeleteRemind me not to whine because it's not 75 and sunny. I've experienced hurricanes and blizzards but tornados are much scarier.
ReplyDeleteSuch storms are very destructive! Hopefully insurance will help with replacement. xo Nellie
ReplyDeleteVery sad.
ReplyDeleteThank God that is all behind you now. What a mess, and I hope you never have to experience another bad storm like that.
ReplyDeleteso scary and sad....
ReplyDeleteI agree with the others. I hope you don't have to go through that ever again, Beth. Bertie
ReplyDeleteHow terrible I cannot imagine losing ones home like that
ReplyDeleteYou be safe too!
ReplyDeleteOh my! I have never experienced a tornado nor do I wish to. Sad that the one house has yet to start repairs.
ReplyDeleteSo glad you are safe and well after this awful event.
