Another new day…

in another new week. What shall I do with this new day that I have been granted?  The possibilities are endless.  For example:

  1. I could do nothing which is what I am best at doing.
  2. I could do something which is what I am trying to decide right now.
  3. I could go to the store as I am out of bananas again.  I have to make up mind on that in a hurry as it is going to be another hot day in the mid 90sl
  4. I could do some cleaning but that makes me shudder.
  5. I could read a book.  I did that yesterday, I read a 374 page book in one afternoon.
  6. I could do none of the above.
  7. I could just say thank you to God for another day and ask Him to help me make the most of it.

Mind made up.  I will just go with number 7.

I hope you all have a great day.  Stay safe and be happy!!

Beth

  11. Always, #7 would come first. I have a history of not being able to put books down once I begin reading them. I read one a night when I was in high school. Perhaps I would have been better served keeping up with my homework.:)

  12. I know just how you feel! When I have a day alone there's so much to chose from that I spend all my time thinking about it, and then it's over!

Hope you enjoyed your day :)

  15. Wonderfully written Beth. I think that I will join you in celebrating # 7. Every new day seems full of promise and hope too, I love that feeling! I love the fact that each new day allows me to 'do it' all over again and perhaps better than I did yesterday and if not, well then ... there will always be tomorrow to get it right.

  18. This heat just puts a wrinkle in everything doesn't it. It's so hot here again today, that I don't have the energy to do anything constructive even tho my ac is set low. And there is no end in sight.
